Relais San Lorenzo is situated in the pedestrian area of Lucca where you can visit museums and historic monuments, such as: the museum della Cattedrale; Palazzo Guinigi; Pinacoteca Mansi; Puccini House; Palazzo Pfanner; Boccherini House; and Palazzo Ducale.
Also in the centre of Lucca, there are many good restaurants and pizzerias where you can sample the local cuisine; Locanda Di Bacco, Vineria i Santi, Trattoria da Gigi and Buca di San Antonio are just a few examples.
Special events are organised at the theatre del Giglio, and in summer and winter, festival Puccini takes place in Lucca.
Lucca is situated in an ideal position in Tuscany, with easy access to Florence and Pisa for day excursions.
